Personal Financial Preparedness for the 21st Century Woman: Instructor: Cryshonda Gilkes
This course is designed to explain how different aspects of personal finance can be managed and provide resources for making financial decisions. Topics to be explored include understanding how financial decisions are made, calculating net worth, consumer credit, understanding credit reports, bankruptcy, housing, taxes, insurance, investments, banking, and budgeting.

Surviving the Process and Living Through Grief: Instructor: Sherice Benjamin
This course will explain grief concepts by walking through the stages of grief. This training is set to provide tools for healing, restoration, and the impact of losing loved ones, employment, divorce, home, and ministry. This training is set to prepare individuals in ministry interested in forming a grief support group.

Discovering Emotional Intelligence from a Biblical Perspective: Instructor: Tara Phelps-Jones
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is the ability to recognize and understand emotions and your skill at using this awareness to manage yourself and your relationship with others. This high-impact course combines team activities, movie clips, assessments, and participation to create a fun and inviting environment for sharing and learning. Discover what EQ is and just how important it is in determining success in all facets of life. Adult Mental Health First Aid Certification: Instructor: Melodi Parker
Just as CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis. In the Mental Health First Aid course, you learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help. This course will be 2 hours per week and meet for 4 weeks. Students will receive an official certification. An additional $28.95 will be assessed which includes a workbook and certification.
